I think having your breakfast cooked by someone is one of the biggest act of love there is - by your best friend, flatmate, parent, husband, lover, or whoever that may be. There’s something very special about enjoying the first meal of the day together, taking your time, and starting the day in a calm and considered way.

Captured beautifully by Madeleine Place, this table is everything we love about those quiet, indulgent mornings — golden French toast piled high with stewed winter fruits and whipped cream, coffee still steaming, and our Woven Rosa Florita dessert plates in espresso setting the scene.

Our dessert plates are designed for these kinds of moments. They are 22cm Diameter and slightly smaller than our dinner plates and perfect for more intimate servings, whether it’s a slice of marmite on toast, a piece of birthday cake or a mid-afternoon snack. (I’ll personally be sticking to the delicious French Toast for the foresasble. YUM!)

Espresso Tones & Floral Details

The deep, warm tone of our espresso plates is timeless. It adds a richness to the table, grounding softer colours and bringing a sense of calm to the setting. The floral design gives it a traditional edge, but not in a fussy way, instead in a bold, feminine and classic way.

The Florita dessert plates come in four different shades; Espresso, Grenadine red, Kiwi and Lilac. We also have matching mini Florita Bowls and a Florita Serving Bowl to complete the set.
